This is quite a different post to what I normally write but I really wanted to publish my own Makeup Wishlist. I think I’ll post these seasonally and it’ll be interesting to see if I actually end up purchasing what’s on the list.
First up is all about that contour. I am literally obsessed with contouring at the moment, especially my Kat Von D palette. I use it every single day and I really want to try some other contouring products.
First up is the Lunatick Cosmetic Labs Contour Palette. It contains light to dark: cool, rose and nude hues to create a natural contour. I’m particularly interested in the cool grey tones to contour my cheek bones. A lot of people use bronzer to contour and as I have very pale skin with blonde hair I have to use a cool toned bronzer. I am so interested to see what the grey hues would do to my skin and the monster book packaging is to die for. It is however £52.99 and I currently cannot justify that price at the moment. Perhaps this will be a payday treat at some point – if I’m very good!
I feel like I’ve mastered contouring with powder and now I want to experiment with cream contour. I feel like this palette from Makeup Revolution is perfect as it’s only £8 which is SO affordable. I absolutely adore their products and the quality is amazing so I think I’ll definitely end up purchasing it.
Let’s move on to eyes and there are some products I’m really lusting over. The Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Eye Shadow Collection is so cute and the colours look amazing. It contains 9 matte and shimmer shades which also smells like peanut butter. What is not to love? It is £27 and brand new out!
This absolutely stunning palette is very quickly coming off my Wishlist and into my hands because I am ordering it – like now. Let me introduce you to the brand new, Makeup Revolution Favours The Brave eyeshadow palette created by BritishBeautyBlogger. Oh my god I cannot contain my excitement. It is absolutely stunning I cannot stop looking at it. It’s also only £9.99 which is amazing. If you want a review of this one, let me know in the comments below.
Whilst browsing the Nars website I came across this really pretty duo called Violetta. It is a whopping £25 for the 2 shadows but the pretty smoky lavender and soft metallic lavender looks so romantic and perfect for an effortless Spring look.
I’ve really enjoyed wearing my NYX Butter Glosses and now I really want to explore the brand, mainly this Soft Matte Lip Cream. They’re only £5.50 each and I feel like I’m obliged to try out London as I’m from the UK. I of course will have to try out the shade Copenhagen too due to my Danish roots. All the shades look so pretty and I can see them becoming a staple in my makeup collection.
When I think about Spring I can’t help but think of afternoon tea in the sun and what is afternoon tea without a macaron? This NYX Macaron Lippie in Earl Grey looks so pretty. I’d love to play around with it and for £5.50 it’s a steal!
With my finals coming up, a dissertation to finish, a full time job, a burning desire to post to Instagram every minute of every day – I get so stressed. I am so eager to try the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray but for £16, I’m currently holding back. If you’ve tried this I’d love to know your opinion! I’m desperate for something to help me relax and get a good night’s sleep.
I received a Spectrum makeup brush in my Birchbox and I’m now absolutely obsessed. The brushes are gorgeous and they are so soft, it also applies my makeup perfectly. I have fully fallen in love with this set. From the mermaid theme to the beautiful contrasting colours. It also comes in a pink seashell case – like could it get any better?? The Glam Clam contains 10 brushes and is £59.99 which works out at £5.99 a brush – very good! But this definitely another ‘if I’m good’ present, I might have to ask for this one for my birthday.
So here we have 9 products on the top of my Spring Wishlist. If you’ve tried any of these products let me know in the comments below, I’d love to know what you think. If you have a Wishlist link me to yours or comment a few items, I love knowing what people really want to try.
Hope March (how is it March?) is treating you well. I have so many new posts planned!
