Makeup Revolution: Radiance Palette

As it’s now Spring, I’m fully stocking up on highlighters so I can achieve a beautiful glow even though I spend most of my life indoors. When I’m not sure what look I want to achieve, I fully stock up on as many of a product I can get my hands on because I can be so indecisive. So when I found the Makeup Revolution Highlighter Palettes, I had to buy them both.

One of which is this gorgeous palette – The Radiance Palette. I instantly fell in love with the warm golden tones which look perfect to wear on a sunny day.

Breathe
Exhale
Glow

All 3 shades have a wonderful warm luminous quality with a light shimmer. All 3 are perfect for all skin types though I tend to use Glow as a bronzer on my rather pale skin. I tend to reach for Exhale more for an everyday look and Breathe is so pretty on nights out.

Swatches in natural light (top to bottom): Glow, Exhale, Breathe
Swatches with flash (top to bottom): Glow, Exhale, Breathe

Overall I really love this highlighter palette. As with most Makeup Revolution palettes, it has a shiny, black plastic outer casing with a full sized mirror. Though what I really love about this palette is the matte black plastic around the highlighters, I feel like it makes the whole palette feel a little more high end. I feel like every shade is so useable and I love the £8 price tag which makes it perfect for any makeup beginners who are experimenting with highlighting. The shades themselves are very pigmented with a good amount of shimmer – you don’t need to keep dipping your brush in to achieve that perfect glow. If you’re looking for an easy palette with beautiful shades and won’t cost the earth, this might be the palette for you.

Pros:

  • Cruelty free & Vegan
  • Available in Superdrug or on their website
  • 3 golden shades to suit everyone
  • Non-chalky
  • Light shimmer, not glittery
  • £8
  • Good for beginners
  • Pigmented
  • Palette has a high-end feel
  • Full-sized mirror
  • Hourglass Dupe
