Soap & Glory: No Clogs Allowed Deep Detox Mask

I absolutely love Soap & Glory skincare products, every product I’ve tried has never let me down. So when I spotted a cheeky ‘3 for 2’ offer at my local boots, I knew I had to dive right in and get some more goodies. One product which particularly caught my eye was the No Clogs Allowed™ Super Self-Heating Deep Pore Detox Mask. Promising to deep clean and melt away sebum as well as softening the skin and preventing break outs, well safe to say it went straight into my basket. I couldn’t wait to try it so when I got home I removed my makeup and got stuck in.

When using this mask, make sure you shake first. As you can see from the swatch below there’s a slightly oily residue on my hand. If you don’t shake, the product doesn’t mix and the mask will come out separated and oily. Apply the mask directly to your skin just like a normal face mask. Now this is where the magic happens! Wet your hands with warm water and then scrub away until the mask turns blue. You’ll then feel a heating sensation on your face and you can now relax for 5 minutes. Once the time is up, wash off with a warm wash cloth and marvel at your soft face.

This face mask is pretty powerful and I like to use it once a week. One of the biggest things I have noticed is the sebum production on my skin has decreased dramatically. This is because the mask is a deep, oil-emulsifying mask and the heat of the product actually emulsifies stubborn grease deep in the pores. My skin can sometimes be a little sensitive to change and I expected some redness after using this mask. Despite the heating and scrubbing, my skin did not react at all. Instead I was left with really smooth and soft skin.

Overall I’m really impressed with this face mask and it works really nicely in my skincare routine. I’ve seen such a noticeable, positive difference in my skin and I know that I’ll definitely be repurchasing. You may be put off by the £11.50 price tag but I can definitely see this lasting a while, as you only need a little bit of the product each time. In the long run I think this is a really good skincare investment.

Have you tried this mask or do you have a favourite face mask? I’d love to know what you think in the comments.

I will definitely look into this … Hope I can find it here in the states! I have an issue with sebum production! *crosses fingers*
