Primark Perfume: First Impressions

When browsing the makeup section in Primark, I came across their rather large perfume collection which I’ve always ignored. ‘Cheap’ perfume is something I’ve never really looked into, I always imagined them to smell bad or with a strong alcohol scent. However the beautiful packaging caught my eye and I’m very happy it did! I found it so hard to choose but settled on 3 roll on perfumes at £2 each.

Paris 01 has absolutely stunning packaging. Adorned with golden, glitter stripes; the box immediately caught my eye. The perfume itself has a white lid and white stripes, giving it a rather Parisian look. The scent itself is more grown up compared to the other perfumes I purchased as it’s very musky. But it’s balanced with sweet vanilla and a caramel scent which will leave you wanting more. It’s very irrististable and warming – I love it!

London 04 had to go into my basket as it contains one of my favourite scents ever: patchouli. It has that beautiful deep and herby scent but it’s balanced with sweet mandarin and amber. The blend of fragrance is amazing and I love the golden Union Jack on the packaging.

Coachella 05 wasn’t going to go into the basket because I felt like it would be such a gimmick. The sunset packaging is gorgeous but I felt like the Coachella brand would be the biggest selling point here. But I was so so wrong, the fruity mix of orange and peach layered with jasmine, sandalwood, musk and vanilla is amazing. This is my ultimate summer perfume and I need to go back to Primark and purchase the full sized spray.

Overall I’m really impressed with these perfumes. The blend of scents are amazing and at only £2 each you cannot go wrong! They are so portable, easy to travel with and the roll on applicator even makes application easy. I am now a huge fan of Primark perfumes and I’m definitely going to pick up some more.

Two quid?! Am I reading that right?! The Coachella one looks gorgeous, and sounds exactly my sort of scent. My favourite affordable brands are the Body Shop sprays and good old Next!
