Metallic Autumnal Eyes Using A Highlight?

I absolutely adore the Makeup Revolution Shimmer Bricks, in particular the gorgeously pigmented colours in Rose Gold. But due to my very pale skin, I can’t really use it as a highlight or bronzer as the shades are just too dark for me. It does however make an excellent eyeshadow palette and at only £3, it might just be the most pigmented and shimmery palette I own. So I decided to play around and see what I could come up with.

I’m not quite sure why I’m so pale here, I’ve been a bit under the weather and I’m also trying out a new to me foundation which I was matched for in store. Oh well, if I’m going to get away with looking like a ghost, it’s going to be in the month of October! I might have to go to town with the bronzer next time! I was also having one of those days where I hated every single selfie I took of myself, so I picked 2 photos which showed the look best.

I used the orange shade all over the lid with a hint of the reddish shade along my crease. I then added a little definition to my eyes by applying the brown shade to the outer corners. The lightest, highlighting shade looks super pretty in the inner corners and I also applied a little to my lash line to try and soften the look. The shades are SO pigmented, I don’t think I could wear all the shades at once for a day look. They would however be absolutely fantastic for a party or festival though! But I felt very autumnal when wearing them and it did lift my mood despite my terrible cold.

Do you sometimes use makeup products for different things other than their intended purpose?

      Thank you so much!
I have very oily eyelids too so I’d definitely be too scared to use them as Eyeshadow. I have heard of people using liquid lipstick as liquid liner though which I might try!
