Simply Festive Makeup Look

With Christmas just around the corner, we can all get quite busy. So I thought I’d create a makeup looks which takes about 10 minutes to achieve, giving you plenty of time to finish wrapping the presents.

Foundation: L’Oreal  True Match Foundation Rose Ivory set with the Laura Geller Baked Balance & Brighten Colour Correcting Foundation. I find that this is a really subtle foundation mix which isn’t too cakey but lasts all day. It’s also such a flawless look, I didn’t bother with foundation!

Contour: Kat Von D Shades & Light Face Contour Palette – the lightest shade. This contour palette is so pigmented and I love how natural it looks. The cool tones make your cheeks stand out, without adding any orange to your complexion.

Highlight: Makeup Revolution  Radiance Palette in Exhale is just so glowy and gorgeous, I cannot get enough. It has a golden, warm tone to it which will make you match your tree’s tinsel.

Eyeshadow:
ELF Cosmetics Studio Clay Eyeshadow Palette Necessary Nudes, I am so impressed with this  mini palette! The shades are so pigmented but the shimmer shades to fall out slightly on your cheeks. I created a simple ombré effect by adding the lightest highlight shade all over the lid and into the inner corners. I then applied the matte base shade from the outer corner towards the inner corner, immediately you should see a slight gradient from dark to light. I then intensified this by applying the shimmery, bronzed lid shade from the outer corner towards the centre of the lid and the darkest chocolate shade in the outer corner. I then took a fluffy blending brush and gently patted it along the lid to soften the transition from dark to light. You’re then left with a super pretty, easy and natural ombré effect! I love it!

Mascara: Kiko MaxiMod Mascara which has a super tiny brush for insane definition!

Brows: Benefit 3D Browtones, the best product for defined yet natural brows. I admire all you ladies with brows on point but I ain’t got time for that kind of precision!

Lips:
ELF Cosmetics Studio Lip Liner & Blending Brush Dark Red – blended inwards to create an ombré effect which lasts all day.

Overall I really love this look, especially as it’s just so easy and quick. You can definitely jazz it up with some sparkly gold eyeliner and pack on that highlight for a more party feel!

What makeup looks are you loving this season?
