BeautyBay Sale Haul

img_1266

One morning between Christmas and New Year, I woke up and instead of browsing Twitter and Instagram I ended up on the BeautyBay website. Oops. I fully blame the email which was waiting for me, luring me to the sales and as I needed a Z palette anyway I decided to take a look. After adding the one thing I actually needed to the basket, it then turned into adding a few sales items because who can resist a bargain? Of course while I was there I had to put in a couple of things I’ve wanted for a while, basically I have zero control! So obviously to justify my spending spree I thought I would share my haul with you all.

Z Palette Small Palette Black – £9.50

Makeup Geek Eyeshadow Pan Ice Queen – £6

I received a BeautyBay makeup bag for Christmas which contained a LA Splash Liquid Lipstick and 2 Makeup Geek Eyeshadows which of course meant I needed to purchase a Z Palette. I’ve wanted one for a while and always held off, but now I have 2 starter eyeshadows I can slowly start to build my own palette. My plan is to pick shades every few months and create something that suits me both everyday and for going out. So obviously I had to grab another shadow and picked the shade Ice Queen as everyone needs a white highlighting shade.

This Works Beauty Bay Exclusive Bedtime Bliss Collection – £9.45

As I loved my makeup bag so much, I tried to find the other sets online which unfortunately have now all sold out. But in my search I found this, This Works set which was reduced from £31.50 to £9.45! What a bargain and I have heard so many great things about their products. I’ve tried out a sample of the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray and I loved it as it was certainly very relaxing. So I am so excited to try out this collection and it contains 2 pillow sprays, bath salts and a relaxing body oil. It looks like I now have everything I need for a relaxing evening after work.

Makeup Geek Blush Compact Rendezvous – £8.55

This was another great sale item as it’s in a compact and worth £14.25. I thought this shade would be perfect for the Spring and the packaging is gorgeous. Who does not love a simple, pink blush?

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick Androgyny – £16

So this item was of course not in the sale but I’ve wanted to try it for ages as it’s so talked about. Of course the shade to buy was Androgyny as it’s a cult favourite and I cannot wait to try out my first Jeffree Star Lipstick.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Skin Frost Lavender Snow – £25

So for what feels like forever I have fully lusted over Jeffree’s Skin Frosts and as I was treating myself I just had to get one. Lavender Snow is such a pretty colour and I thought a soft purple would look beautiful in both the Winter and Springtime.

Did you snag anything good in the Boxing Day/January sales? I’d love to know what you purchased in the comments below!

Amazing! I love a good sale and 50% off lush is the best. I’ve been trying to cut down on Lush since I became a little on the obsessed side a couple of years a go. I had a few things for Christmas which I love and I did decide to indulge a little on their Valentines collection 🙂
