Makeup Revolution Pink Fizz Valentines Look

As Lush has brought out their Valentines range and it being just over 3 weeks until the day approaches, I thought I’d start creating some makeup looks inspired by the very romantic day. Today’s makeup look is based upon the Makeup Revolution Pink Fizz Chocolate Bar Palette which is only £7.99. It contains mainly soft, pink shimmer shades but I was inspired by the deeper colours to create a sultry look for a hot Valentines date.

This sultry, blue look will have anyone eating out of the palm of your hand.

To create this intense eye look which will guarantee to turn heads, I first of all took the matte nude shade Drink and applied this all over my lid and up into my crease. Taking a fluffy blending brush, I then took the light pink shimmer shade Toast and blended this all over my crease. I then dipped the same brush into the darker pink shimmer shade Girl and blended this into Toast, creating a slight gradient of pink. I then added some depth to my eye with the matte brown shade Pop by applying it into the outer corner of my crease with an angled fluffy brush. To add a gorgeous pop of colour, I then used a precise angled brush with the blue shade France. I applied this to my outer corner, up into my crease and half away across my entire lid as well as blending it into my lower lash line. After cleaning the same brush, I then used the silver shimmery shade Celebrate on my inner corner and towards the centre of my lid before blending the 2 colours together with a clean fluffy brush. To finish the look, I highlighted my brow bone with the white shimmering shade Bubbles and applied a good coat of Benefit RollerLash Mascara. To keep with the sultry look, I applied the Makeup Revolution Retro Matte Lip Kit in Glory.

I found that the shades in this palette blended really well together with almost no fall out on my cheeks. The pigmentation was absolutely stunning, especially with the shade France which looks so intense and pretty. I also love how the blue/silver shades blend up into a more natural pink/brown smoke within my crease which makes this look entirely wearable. As a blue eyed girl, I would never normally wear blue eyeshadow but I think it looks so pretty and will definitely be rocking this look more often.

What do you think of this makeup look? I’d love to know your thoughts in the comments below.
